Are you passionate about making a difference? The Dāna Education Volunteering Program is now open for applications from individuals around the world who want to volunteer at our small learning Center dedicated to Burmese Immigrants children. "This opportunity can be your gap year contribution, internship, and more, supporting your long-lasting, impactful contribution to our community."

What is the Dāna Education Volunteering Program? 🤝

We are a newly established, unique two-room learning space that caters to 15 students each, focusing primarily on Pre-diploma program and diploma program in Chiang Mai. In addition to these core programs, we also offer Emotional and Social development every Friday, which emphasize our students' mental well-being and socializing. Our project in Laos focusing organizing Reading club and in Myanmar we focus on raising mental health awareness and offering counseling to need youth.

Why Choose the Dāna Education Volunteering Program? ❓

Our learning center operates from Monday to Friday, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Joining our team, volunteers can play a crucial role in teaching, facilitating workshops, and engaging in activities that help foster trust between students and their parents, while also exposing them to new cultural experiences. Volunteer/intern can choose to apply to volunteer one of our three projects (Laos, Thailand, Myanmar).

Volunteer Schedule and Responsibilities 💼

Volunteers are expected to work remotely or on site based on expatriates. Each volunteer is require to committed at least 2 hours per week remotely, hybrid or on site. Specific responsibilities will/can be discussed during the onboarding process. After the successful selection the volunteer will be assigned to join their leader's group.

As a small foundation, we are currently unable to provide visa assistance, stipends, or accommodation for our volunteers.
