I, Htay Aung (Theo), founder of Dāna Education, would like to welcome you to our webpage. Dāna mean "Generosity," from the Buddhist teaching, Education (receiving or giving knowledge). Therefore, Dāna Education mean “Sharing the knowledge you acquire to those who need most”. Your visit means that one more person is learning about our mission, actions, and vision.

Our projects
Youth Empowerment Initiatives
Dāna Education’s Youth Empowerment Program supports and inspires young people across Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar to grow into confident leaders and active changemakers. Through youth-centered initiatives, we raise awareness of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) while creating safe, inclusive spaces for learning, dialogue, and collaboration. Our activities include youth networking events such as open mic sessions, game competitions, scholarship talks, and youth dialogues, alongside leadership development, public speaking practice, and peer-to-peer discussions.
Dāna Education’s Migrant learning Center!
Dāna Education’s Migrant Learning Center is dedicated to addressing the educational and emotional needs of Burmese migrant children. Through child-centered and inclusive approaches, we create safe learning spaces where children can grow, heal, and thrive with dignity and confidence. Our program provides Social and Emotional Support, Conversational English classes, and Arts and Sports activities to promote well-being, self-expression, and holistic development.
